It appears to me that Financial Accounting, 13th ed. 2010 that we have in our library is on Reserves - which means it is for use in the Library only which is why it is not available for request.

Books are generally placed on reserve for the semester at the request of faculty so that the material is assured to available.
There are circulating earlier editions of the book for which a request can be placed.
